What are you actually looking for at gun shows?

What do you guys actually buy at gun shows? Ammo? Parts? Full firearms? Or is it more about just seeing what's available?

Firearms, the few times i go I'm just looking for a deal on a gun. Not any particular gun, but a deal I can't walk away from. So far (sadly) I haven't found one.

I mostly hunt for parts and things you can't easily find online. Guns pop up sometimes, but just looking around and learning prices is half the fun.

Honestly, I have not found the pricing, at gun shows I’ve been to, to be very competitive. Maybe first few hours have good deals, but…in general, not a great deal.

So, mostly I go there to handle a wide variety of guns and figure out the full spread of any types I’m interested in. I might offer, but usually my fair price offers look ridiculous compared to the posted price. I tend to offer what guns are worth. Someone must agree with me as I’ve become a bit of an accumulator!

Ammo, powder, primers, brass are the same issue.

Honestly, I think most gun show sales are new gun owners, new buyers who get hyped up being in an environment that has lots of hype, excitement, testosterone and a way to say they are a real gun owner buying at a show!
