What gun do you keep…..

What gun do you keep for home defense? How is it setup? How to you keep proficient with it?

Maybe I should add, do you know your pick up or draw to shoot times and shot-2-shot split times?

Glock 19 with a light and night sights. Practice dry fire weekly, hit the range monthly and keep sharpening the basics.

I have a Ruger GP 100, can't say that I really do anything special with it but it does get shot at the range.

I've use my Sphinx subcompact for both my carry and my nightstand gun. I hit the range at least a couple times a month (weather permitting). No shot timer...
