We did the same thing. My wife was from Maple Heights Ohio near Cleveland. I whisked her away to Dearborn, Mi in 1978 so she wanted to return in 2021 when I retired from automotive engineering. We settled near her sister in Barberton. I'm from the east coast.New guy. Retired and moved to Ohio recently to be close to wife's family. Spent last 25 years living in rural NW Oregon (State of) and now getting used to living in town. Not as easy as I had hoped.

Funny aside; aside from the family connections, my wife didn't want to "learn" another new city so lobbied hard for returning to the greater Toledo area. Once here, she is totally lost most of the time as it has changed a lot since she left in 1989. I just smile.Thanks, dademoss.
