Best Folding Knife Recommendations

Hey everyone, I've been on the hunt for a good folding knife and would love to hear what you all carry. What’s your go-to for everyday tasks? Feel free to share some pictures too!

You’re probably not going to like what I carry. The top one is a knife I bought at Lowe’s and the bottom one is a Barlow style I bought on Amazon. Each cost less than $20 but surprisingly they hold a good edge. Don’t get me wrong, I have many Case, Remington, Buck and other knives. In fact at last count I had over 100 folder and sheath knives. The reason I carry the cheap ones is that I am very hard on my knives. I could be opening boxes, prying out staples or digging in the dirt with it. It would really tick me off if I snapped a blade off of one of my nice Case knives.

When I am at work, I carry a Kershaw Leek. Otherwise, I carry a No Limit Knives OTF, I think they call it a Ripper. It has a Japanese-esque blade style and is an overall great carry knife. But, I don't work it hard. I'll post a pic when I get home tonight.

I have three different knives that I carry depending on which one I grab first. I bounce between my Benchmade Mini Boost Black, Ontario Rat II, or my Kershaw Link. I usually carry the Benchmade and Ontario more because they’re a little lighter than the Kershaw.

I am not a knife expert by any means, but I find Kershaw to be a very good value when it comes to knives. One of these days, I'll splurge for a Spyderco, though.

i've been carrying a benchmade 940 in g10 scales, s 30v. it wasnt the best grind when i got it, but using a 400 grit water stone, it puts on a amazing edge. i use every day on the farm.

i've got a para3 , that needs new scales after a motor cycle accident. i found it on the road, but the s20v steel holds a great edge. been eyeing a large griptillian with the spyderco hole. then add in a after market g10 scales.
