Mine is "deep cleaning my AR's bolt carrier group". I know I should do it more often, but disassembly, scrubbing all those tiny parts, getting carbon out of every crevice, it's tedious! I do it eventually, just not as often as I should. The gun runs fine enough that I keep procrastinating on the deep clean. I am not proud of it, just being honest.

Detail stripping most anything. Ugh! Most things almost never need this fortunately!

AR Bolt carrier group is fine as long as I set my ZOCD to medium first!

As an aside, here is one you can put off….handgun cleaning…I suspect most of these only need cleaned every 2000 rounds! AR type rifle cleaning too can wait a bit. Like about 500-800 rds on bore cleaning and double that on action cleaning.

I would continue to add lube regularly and wipe the outside.

But doesn't cleaning your handgun or rifle keep you familiar with the weapon so you can make it functional under any circumstances? That's what my DI always told me ...
