I had that thing for probably ten years and I used it on every hunt. I realized it was gone when I got home and I'm genuinely bummed about it. It wasn't expensive or special, just mine you know? Ever lose a piece of gear that you actually cared about?

It’s never about the price, losing something you’ve used forever just stings way more.

I once lost (misplaced) one of my cc 9 mags. I took it out of my pocket while installing a new vanity in my bathroom. After I discovered it was missing I spent several hours that day searching for it. I eventually came to the conclusion that it had to be underneath the vanity. That was 3 years ago and I searched for it periodically since. About a month ago I was cleaning out a drawer in the vanity and lo and behold, I found it tucked in the back of the drawer. What a good feeling it is when something lost/misplaced turns up unexpectedly.

That’s always such a relief! Finding something you’ve been hunting for years feels almost magical.
