How much do you spend on ammo per year?

Probably $1,500-2,000 if I'm being honest. That's mix of range practice and hunting ammo. It sounds like a lot until you realize that's like $40 a week and way cheaper than most hobbies. People spend more on golf or fishing, shooting is actually pretty reasonable if you're not buying Gucci match ammo constantly.

Other than shotshells and rimfire, I don't buy loaded ammo. I don't shoot shotgun very much so the box I bought this year cost about $25. But I reload and it's getting more and more expensive all the time. At the moment I've fairly well stocked, but when I wasn't I probably spent $5-600 year on supplies.

If I’m honest, probably $6-900 on reloading. Maybe $500 on ammo. I am pretty stocked now, except primers, but both powder and primers are a bit expensive, so I’m in a holding pattern.

I don't really keep track of how much I spend on ammo each year. I just set a monthly budget and think of it like my gym membership. It keeps my skills sharp and that feels worth it.
