Well, it depends on what we are talking about. For hunting or precision rifle, it is about getting up and getting everything moving. Then getting in position. Then getting the gun ready and in position….aimed roughly. Couple deep breaths. On the exhale, final aim, trigger prep, pull, breath, look at results.
I guess, my point is it is not what you do, when you do it….it is about building a sense of calm and heightened awareness so your body can work with the precision required to make a great shot.
This is kind of like aiming. You can calm to near zero wobble and pull the trigger or more towards to aim point while controlling the break timing as you get to it. It doesn’t really matter what you do as long as the trigger breaks over the aiming point.
