Gear brands you trust without question

I will only use Leupold for scopes. End of discussion! Their scopes still work after years in the rain, mud and being dropped. Knowing it's going to work makes things way less stressful, what brand do you trust without questions?

If I had to pick, it'll be Vortex

Leupold is one I trust, but it's not the only brand of scope I buy. 2 others would be Redding and RCBS. A lot of the names I've trusted with out question in the past have been bought out by other companies and I no longer have that feeling of comfort. Smith and Wesson is one I still trust, but Colt has changed hands...as has Winchester, Burris, and (I think) Remington. So it's a mixed bag. I still buy products from those companies that changed hands, but I'm more careful now when doing so.

I think highly of Leupold, but I'm using Nightforce these days. A buddy's a Vortex ride or die, and we argue about it all the time. Guess at the end of the day, if it's reliable when things get tough, that's what matters.

I’m a Vortex guy at this time. That said, if I wern’t poor, I’d be a Nightforce person. I also am quite happy with my Tract.
