Wildlife encounter that went bad

Racoons got into our cooler first night out. They destroyed everything. I thought we secured it but those things are smart. We lost all our food and had to end the trip early. What's your worst wildlife camping story?

Once on a drop camp hunt, we arrived to find one of the tents (as the guide put it) had been "beargurlarized". The cook tent of our camp site had been ripped into shreds on the back 1/2 of the canvas. After seeing that we slept with at least one loaded gun in the tent at night.

A buddy and I were on a camping/musky fishing trip at Ceaser Creek a few years back. Left the cooler outside the camper door with the latch on it secured. Next morning when I opened it to fix breakfast, every egg in the cooler, 2 dozen, was gone. It didn't take long to figure out what had happened...he left an easy trail to follow. That was the first night as well. He didn't bother anything else.
