I've been reading and watching a lot trying to prepare to learn to process/butcher my own deer. When is it ok to cut through bone? I've been told not to (especially in the field) because of cwd, and also the "fragments" can get in the meat and degrade quality? I've also seen guys go to town with hack saws, or smaller saws through pelvis bone, legs, etc. is this a maybe/sometimes/it depends situation?
