I live on the border of Lawrence and Gallia County in Southern Ohio right on the Ohio River. Looking forward to gaining insights, education, and overall information on outdoor sports, facilities, property, etc. in this general area. Thanks for having me!

I do enjoy looking at the Ohio River. I often wonder how early man got across it, probably on a raft and later dugout canoes.

Regardless, Welcome aboard

Welcome and I've hunted down in Wayne NF for several decades. Great part of the state.

From before my time and before the dams were installed, I've read in history books that you could walk across it during the summer but at other times it was navigable by paddle wheelers which also got stuck from time to time on the sand bars. A different scene these days for sure.
