is a challenge anymore. But I just literally stumbled on this place that's actually nearby. My grandson told me about it and I stopped in yesterday. It's called Republic Ammunition located near Lima Ohio (he has a website you can search). This place is literally a hole in the wall location....but a very big hole in the wall. I've never seen so much powder in one spot. I was looking for large pistol primers adnd he had those for $7/100, everyone else around em wants about $12/200 for the same primer. His powder prices are very close to what Grafs or Midway USA would charge. Anyway, if you need powder and it's currently in production (he didn't have any Unique, which is a ghost anymore) he'll have it. I have absolutely no connection to this guy or business, just passing some info along for Buckeyes (or eastern Hoosiers) who may be in the area. For calibration the place is only a few miles off I 75 exit 120.

That is an amazing find, seriously, a local spot with primers at $7 per 100 when everyone else is gouging? That's practically a public service. Thanks for the heads-up, it's always the "little hole-in-the-wall" places that have the best stock and prices. If I'm ever near Lima, I'm hitting that Exit 120 for sure. Spread the good word

Real awesome intel...finding a local spot with decent primer and powder prices is a serious win these days. Thanks for sharing the tip on Republic Ammunition, especially for the Ohio and Indiana crew. I'll check em out

That's a great find, thanks for sharing

I stopped in yesterday and spoke with Heath the owner. He is great to talk with, and has a boat load of powder, primers, and bullets on the shelf. I bought a lb. of VV N320, 1000+ used .38 special brass and he tossed in a couple of sleeves of Ginex small pistol primers for me to try. He also mentioned that if you are local and see something on the website that is normally drop shipped, you can pick it up there with no shipping charges. It's a non-descript warehouse on S. Dixie Highway just south of the union hall between Cridersville and Lima. I'll be going back for sure. As wapakfred mentioned, I've never seen so many reloading consumables in one place before.

I'm sure the big on line places like Midway and Grafs (and others) have a huge inventory, but that was the first time I'd seen so much stuff. I see they Unique and 2400 back in stock, I probably need to go there and get some of each.
